A day in the life of an Uber drive in an Prius Plug In Hybrid.
The inventive and ultra talented Paul Trillo hired me to shoot this spot with a space-penetrating hyperlapse techniques that he imagined with his co-director Landon Van Soest. They came from NY with cinema-drone-wizard Tim Sessler and their all knowing producer Brian Steem.
We shoot all of the car exteriors through Leica Summicron-c glass on a RED Epic that was stabilized and remotely controlled via a freefly movi which was operated while rigged to a truck or was hand held. The car interiors some of the pov traveling shots were shot on a DSLR while in still burst mode. The entire piece was stitched together under Paul's supervision to build a seamless hyperlapse that travels the bay area over the course of one day centered around choreographed moves of a jolly Uber driver.
